About the Author

Nikki Gravert (aka Nikki Alexander) was born in southern Wisconsin, the youngest of 4 children and the only girl. After graduating high school, she joined the United States Army, on active duty, and was stationed in Germany for three years.
 
After returning to Wisconsin, she worked in a factory and as an event photographer while going to college finally graduating with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin in 2014.
 
She had been an avid reader all her life. “I remember summers when I was younger where I would read three books every day until school started again.” She remembers fondly. It wasn’t until she was in her thirties that the drive to write her own stories was born.
 
Currently, Nikki lives with her husband and three children. She also has two black lab mixes and two grumpy cats. In her spare time, she is very active in writer’s groups and at her local library.
